Our Team
Anam Lodhi, MAT
Deputy Director of K-12 Programs, Raleigh Office
Anam first joined Helping Education in 2018 as a research assistant at NC State University; she has held several different roles within the organization since then. Currently, Anam is a Project Manager and Implementation Coach.
Anam graduated from NC State University with a B.A. in Psychology and then moved to Saudi Arabia where she worked at the American International School of Jeddah as a Learning Support (Special Education) teacher for 5 years. Although becoming a teacher was not part of her initial plan, Anam now believes helping the most vulnerable students achieve their full potential is truly her calling. After moving back to North Carolina, Anam attended Meredith College to get her Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education and her NC Educator’s License. She then went on to work as a Cross Categorical Resource/Special Education teacher within the Wake County Public School System.
Anam lives with her husband and two kids. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, trying different cuisines, reading, and watching movies.
