Cece joined Helping Education in 2019 as a HELPS tutor and found a real passion for addressing educational inequality while creating lasting bonds with students. Seeing the amazing impact, the program made her quickly realize that Helping Education was the place for her. Coming from a family of educators, she understood the importance of reading and math fluency and jumped at the chance to help children achieve that gift.

Before Helping Education, she studied pre-med at Queens University here in Charlotte, and is currently pursuing her degree in nursing with graduation on the horizon in 2023.

Cece resides in Charlotte with her family. She has three children ages 5, 7, and 10 and enjoys reading, yoga, and planning.
