Rashonda Peterson, MAED

Program Trainer & Facilitator

Rashonda is a native of Clinton, NC— the home of the Darkhorses! Rashonda earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Language Skills from Bennett College and a masters degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.

During undergrad, Rashonda was able to take classes that ignited her interest in English. After graduating she began a career as an English teacher. In that role Rashonda worked with middle school students, high school students, & then matriculated to serving adult students.

As a previous English teacher to adults, to now coaching teachers in an academic setting, these two vital roles have catapulted her career and has broadened her horizons. She is also a Life Coach to many students who are impacted by her wisdom & unique ability to reach them. Rashonda enjoys seeing students reach their goals and achieve academic success as a result of cognitive coaching. Such reasons have led her to Helping Education. She is excited to join a dynamic team of professionals that will help shape tomorrow’s future today.

Outside of work Rashonda enjoys spending time with family and friends, roadtrips, Netflix and spoiling her Godson.
