The HELPS-SG training is a two-week hybrid learning experience.  Participants progress through an asynchronous, collaborative online learning module via Canvas at a time that works best with the participants’ schedule. In addition, training includes two 60-minute and one 30-minute synchronous Learning Labs where attendees receive additional support and guidance by the trainer. Throughout the course and Learning Labs, Helping Education staff will provide participants with guidance, practice opportunities, and support.

As part of the training, each participant will receive:

  • HELPS-SG Essential Set which includes:
    • One HELPS-SG Teacher’s Manual
    • One HELPS Teacher Passages
    • One HELPS Student Passages
  • Our Online Toolkit for ongoing access to HELPS-SG resources
